I first walked into Anonymously Yours in 1993 with my oldest brother Bob. 
He turned me on to the store telling me about all the great stuff it had in it.  I heard a lot about the store from others and wanted to see for myself what people were talking about.  When I walked in, it was like walking into a candy store.  I wanted a lot of things it had, and ended up buying much of it before I left.  I continued to be a loyal customer supporting the store for the next seven years.  I always thought it would be neat to work in a store “like this”.  I asked the person at the counter if they were hiring.  She said, “as a matter of fact the owner is looking for someone part-time”. I left my number and was told the owner would call me.  A few days later I received a call from the owner and we talked for about an hour.  She said, “come in and we’ll meet and talk some more.”  We met, we clicked, and she hired me.  In 1997, I began working here at the store on Sundays part-time and absolutely loved it!  I met new friends along the way and saw some old ones as well.  Well…here I am 4 years later…I never knew that there was a plan for me back then.  But today there is no doubt!  I was “being groomed” all along for this opportunity and didn’t even know it.

        In March of 2000, I purchased Anonymously Yours.  It seemed to happen rather quickly and the entire transition has been quite smooth.  It has always been a dream of mine to own this store, but with my full-time job(s) I didn’t think I could do it.  Well…through prayer I have stepped out in faith and know today that anything is possible.  I have had much support from all of my family, many friends, and Theresa the previous owner. Most of all, everything I have needed and wanted has come to me from my Higher Power whom I call God.

        Anonymously Yours will continue to carry on its legacy of love and support to all of its customers.  It is a safe and friendly environment that offers you privacy in the back to write your cards while enjoying our “Tranquility Room”.  If it is a special event you are looking for, a local resource of some kind, referral resource, or meeting schedules, we have a Community Bulletin Board posted in the store that is available to you as well. You may want to browse through all of our great books while we continue to work to keep the popular ones on hand just for our customers.  If there is something you are looking for and can’t find it, we will do our best to find it for you.  If you are out of town and need something, we ship anywhere. 

        It is such an honor and a privilege to be connected to Anonymously Yours, which in turn connects me to you.  This store is a blessing and God has hired me to work for him.

        The “Tree of Life” on the wall outside of the store is for anyone who cares to put his or her name and sobriety date on it so that we can celebrate with you.  So come by and check out the store and you will see that we have a lot to offer you here at Anonymously Yours.  Don’t forget to sign the wall out in front.  Among other things, all the miracles you will see on the wall keep all of us coming back!
